Dr. Edward Downes was my Intro to Public Relations professor at Boston University during my junior year in the college of Communication. He held positions as a public relations director, marketing representative, special events producer, campaign organizer, personnel specialist, communications consultant and researcher. Among his employers were the United States Congress, national trade associations, and large and small businesses headquartered in the nation’s capital.

Mr. Gregg Amore was my AP US History teacher during my senior year at East Providence High School. I also worked for him as a page at the Rhode Island State House in the Representative's Chamber, as he is one of Rhode Island's state representatives. He is also the Athletic director at EPHS, where I played volleyball, softball, danced, and swam.

I had the pleasure of being a student in Professor Karagianis's class during my sophomore year of college, for Introduction to Communication Writing. She is the reason why I have grown more confident in my writing, as she taught me how to write everything from a news article, to a press release, to a memoire. Liz was the editor of the Spectrum- the tabloid newspaper at Massachusetts Institute of Technology before her time as a professor at Boston University.

I had Michelle Sullivan as my professor for Advertising 101 in my junior year at Boston University. She was one of my favorite professors at BU, and inspired me with her incredible knowledge of the field of Advertising. Before her career as a professor at BU, Michelle worked as the Head of Marketing for Boston Beer Works and the Director of PR for Samuel Adams.
